Firmware Updates
In order to update the firmware on your MovieCart, you'll need to run the MovieCart with a specific file on the microSD card. There must be no other files on the microSD card, so back up and remove any existing movie files first. To copy files to the microSD card you will first need a common generic USB card reader. Please contact us with your approximate date of purchase to retrieve the proper firmware update file.
Factory Reset
NOTE: Only some patches are removable, some are permanent.Remove any microSD cards from the MovieCart PCB.
Bare PCB
With the power off, insert the MovieCart PCB into the console as you normally would. Find a small wire, such as a sandwich twist tie with the paper removed from each end. Insert one end through the hole labelled PGD and the other through the hole labelled GND. These are holes 2 and 3 of a five hole section in the upper left-hand side of the MovieCart PCB. Verify they are labelled PGD and GND. Verify the ends of the wire aren't making contact with any other points on the PCB.Briefly power up the console and wait for the PCB LED to flash. Note the sequence, and power down the console again. The MovieCart should now be reset to an earlier state.
